Many Varieties of Fish...
There are many varieties of fish in both the Susquehanna River, and Fishing Creek that will challenge
your fishing skills, ranging from muskellunge that grow quite large, to smallmouth and largemouth bass,
walleye, catfish, suckers, carp, and panfish. Bring your boat or canoe along or try your luck from
shore. We sell live bait, and also have some fishing supplies available.

Things to Do...
We are located a leisurely walk from the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds, where the great Bloomsburg
Fair is held every September. The fairgrounds are also host to many other interesting events
that are held throughout the year.
We are about 8 miles from Knoebel's Amusement Resort, and
just minutes from some great eating establishments, shopping malls, and major retail stores.
A short distance from the campground are many antique shops, the Elysburg Gun Club trapshooting
events, Bloomsburg University, Geisinger and Bloomsburg hospitals, and the Pioneer Coal Mine tour.
Also nearby are a nuclear fueled power plant and a coal fired power plant operated by PPL,
with walking trails and wildlife viewing.
There is easy access to four nearby golf courses, the Numidia Drag Strip, riding stables, roller-
skating, bowling, and the Bloomsburg Town Park which includes summer concerts, public swimming pool,
skateboard facility, and a child friendly playground. |
